Despite the fact that a huge number of all kinds of festivals are held annually in the world, the emergence of new events always arouses interest. Today we will tell you about the new Beakerhead festival, which combines art, science and technology. This year, the five-day Beakerhead holiday was held in Calgary (Canada) for the first time, but, apparently, it will become a good tradition in the future.
The organizers of the Beakerhead festival surprised the audience, first of all, with the space theme: Chris Hadfield, the former commander of the International Space Station, took part in the organization of the event, it was he who provided the presentation of the exhibition of unique exhibits. In addition to the astronauts walking the streets, the attention of the spectators was also attracted by the spaceship - a giant launch vehicle, into the cockpit of which one could climb if desired.
The festival was remembered for a huge number of technical inventions, often, of course, these "toys" were designed to entertain, surprise and amuse the audience. A psychedelic hippo with trickles of fire erupting from its nostrils, a huge spider Mondo, a steampunk stone monster 11 feet high - and this is far from all that was presented on Beakerhead. The highlight of the festival was the performance of the German rock band Compressorhead, all of whose musicians are robots.
Our photo report features pictures taken by photographer Neil Zeller. Thanks to him, we can see with our own eyes all the wonders that the organizers of Beakerhead have delighted Canadians and guests of the festival with.

The legends of the dark times in Europe and Asia are full of admiration for lost civilizations, developed so highly that listeners of these legends could hardly believe.
