In our fast-paced age, when it seems that even hours in a day have become less, most of us have forgotten how to appreciate the beauty of the moment. True, there are people who know how not only to appreciate the moment, but also to capture it for posterity, stopping that “wonderful moment” forever. Truly, “do not think down on seconds”, as was sung in one legendary song.

Professional photographers Shimon and Tamar are husband and wife. Together, they created an interesting series of photographs of the couple's movements as they dance. With the help of their cameras, the Israeli couple of photographers, who have been living and working in New York for 14 years, managed to convey the grace of bodies, the magic of movement and the vivid emotions of the dancing couple. “We wanted to reflect in photographs the elusive beauty of the moment, to convey movement, passion, emotions, shades of feelings and thoughts that can be traced in every gesture, every turn of the head or torso,” says Shimon.

“Working with two dancers is a special, intimate process. Photography gives us the opportunity to see what was previously inaccessible to us. The most interesting thing in this process is emotions, the tension and passion that are read in every dancers' movement,”Tamar admits.

The couple says about their tandem: “Cooperation gives us a lot. Sometimes, in order to create something amazing, a synthesis of two practices is needed. What could not be done alone, together to make it easier."
