Video: Glowing Shadows in Photos by Jan Kriwol
2024 Author: Richard Flannagan | [email protected]. Last modified: 2023-12-15 23:55
Don't rely too much on anyone in this world, because even your own shadow leaves you when you are in the dark. Jan Kriwol tried to refute this statement. A photographer from Poland retouched the images so that the shadows began to glow. Examples of such works are presented in our review.
Jan Kriwol has long been renowned for his unusual approach to photography. Either it "crumples" the wall, then it makes the asphalt open up in front of the hero of the picture, sends a man "to the panel". Each photograph of the author is unique, each frame is filled with deep meaning and makes the viewer think.
Jan Kriwol herself admits that she is a bit of a philosopher at heart. Therefore, each photo is treated as a mini-book, which needs to be filled with meaning as much as possible so that you can look at it for hours and notice something new every time.
Photographer Jan Kriwol is called a “characteristic artist” because she not only shoots and retouches, but also emphasizes the most important moments of the frame: the hero's age, emotions, environment. Erik Johansson is distinguished by similar qualities. His fantastic photographs have repeatedly won international competitions, and excavators playing "tic-tac-toe" have become the talk of the town among fans of the talented author.
