However, a London School of Design graduate, painter and sculptor Anna Rajcevic, nevertheless, I tried to imagine the downside of evolution and look at a person who would suddenly begin to mutate back into an animal. This is the name of the art project - ANIMAL: The Other Side of Evolution … In this project, however, a person remains a person, except that as a result of mutation, reverse evolution, he acquires strange, outlandish artifacts. No, his tail does not grow back - mysterious designer accessories, art objects in the form of horns, fangs, tusks, shields and other "foreign formations" act as artifacts. Following the contours of the face, emphasizing or smoothing out some of its features, these accessories look like an extension of the human body. As if they belong here.
It is difficult to imagine that someone will take seriously the design experiments of the young artist as a new line of trendy jewelry. Anna Raichevich herself calls these works, made of fiberglass, sculptures-bridges between humans and animals, objects that make you think about the concepts of beauty and normality.
