Wide strokes, soft colors and soothing subjects: all this is harmoniously combined in the work of the artist Jack Haas. “The most important thing in my work is the connection with the world, each person must understand that he is beautiful and harmonious! And only a connection with the cosmos through the manifestation and discovery of one's abilities can convey this great thought to everyone together and each individually: the world is boundless and beautiful, it loves us and we must reciprocate it! The master's paintings really put you in a trance!
Jack Haas has been practicing martial arts for a long time, he himself admits that he was prompted to work by meditation, Jack believes that his paintings are also able to enter a person into a state of euphoria.
“We all grow and change, so I grew and my inner world expanded. And gradually I realized that my unstable (at that time) state is a reflection of external expansion. This means that the outside world for me is a big theater, the actors in which are people and their experiences. And these large dimensions enter into the inner microcosm of everyone, moreover, they form it."
“I have noticed more than once how a kaleidoscope of people and places enters me, creating fear and surprise, but at the same time making me better and stronger. Our soul is a garden that we grow in ourselves. Although reality does not correspond to our feelings at all (and in this, Jack's work is close to the philosophy of such great minds as Kant, Hume and Berkeley). Life cannot be enclosed in any crayons, it is much broader than any philosophical and political theories that can enslave our body, but cannot enslave our spirit, because it contains the whole world!"
Jack Haas also writes books in which he talks about his creative path and his discovery of new facets of reality.
“With my art, I want to convey my world to people. And I hope that someday they will open theirs for me! After all, each of us is mysterious, free, strong, open and bright! You just have to believe in it and then all desires will certainly come true!"

An extravagant skyscraper temple with a dragon, which its creator dreamed of during meditation
The Buddhist temple Wat Samphran in Thailand is very extravagant even for this country, because it is an 80-meter tower of bright pink color, entwined with a scaly dragon. Despite the fact that this building is located only fifty kilometers from Bangkok, this attraction is not very popular with tourists. But in vain. After all, it is incredibly beautiful here, besides, you can even climb up to the very belly of the dragon building
A series of sculptures "The Four Seasons". Seasons of the artist Giuseppe Arcimboldo in the art project of Philip Haas
The legacy of the artist Giuseppe Arcimboldo, a representative of Mannerism, a great Italian master who died at the end of the 16th century, lives on to this day. People who understand painting probably remember a series of amazing paintings by Archimboldo, in which he portrayed the seasons with amazing characters, as if woven from seasonal vegetables, fruits and berries, well, dressed for the weather. To remind of this creative feat of the great artist, as well as to accomplish with his help his own, prompted owls

Practicing Meditation at the Texas Capitol: The MedMob Social Movement
More recently, we wrote about how local yoga lovers gathered for a flash mob in the English city of Cardiff. At first glance, it is difficult to reconcile a fast, impulsive and modern hobby like a flash mob with thoughtful and calm meditation. However, there is an informal organization of people that demonstrates over and over again that this is possible. This organization is called MedMob, and its actions prove: you can and should meditate everywhere, always and for everyone! Even a crowd of hippies in the state capitol
Meditation and contemplation in paintings by Jian Chong Min
Life is what we think about it. (Attributed to Marcus Aurelius) The expression of the ancient Roman fits perfectly with the work of the Chinese artist Jian Chong Min. It is possible, especially as modern "digital" artists, to see the world as a horrifying conglomerate of unmotivated cruelty, all-pervading eroticism, apocalyptic landscapes, … In the spirit of the end of civilization "on the way", and beyond - emptiness
