More recently, we wrote about how local yoga lovers gathered for a flash mob in the English city of Cardiff. At first glance, it is not easy to reconcile such a fast, impulsive and modern hobby as flash mob, with a thoughtful and calm meditation … However, there is an informal organization of people that demonstrates over and over again that this is possible. This organization is called MedMob, and her actions prove that you can and should meditate everywhere, always and to everyone! Even the hippie crowd in the state capitol.
Just a month ago, on the last Sunday of January, lovers of meditation practices gathered in Austin, Texas: they tried to improve state karmic well-being … Whether they succeeded or not, but together with them the same spontaneous groups of people meditated in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Cincinnati, Phoenix, Asheville … But where exactly did Texans have such faith in the power of their meditation? The fact is that they gathered in … the main legislative body of the state.
Of course, the fat and venerable sheriffs guarding the state legislature might suspect that there are somehow too many suspicious women in light suits and bearded rastaman appearance … But they did not notice anything of the kind, and therefore the suddenly formed circle of people sitting and singing "OM" (not a unit of resistance, but "original mantra"), at the first moment greatly surprised everyone.
However, in America, morals are much freer than ours, and therefore the eyes of the visitors of the institution, although they crawled out on their foreheads, looked at the mobbers quite good-naturedly and with understanding. And by the appearance of many it was clear that they themselves were not averse to taking part in the singing, only they did not know the words.
Having finished their meditation practice, the mobbers burst into applause, overjoyed for the improved spiritual health of their native state. And then they scattered through the park, settling down for meditation. in the most unexpected places: on tree branches, old cannons and pedestals (just like the participants in a lying mob) In general, the park was just littered with yogis … Although this contradicts the canons of the flash mob (after the action, all the participants instantly disperse in different directions, without even trying to get to know each other), but meditation is a long, serious and spiritual matter, you cannot do it in five minutes.

An extravagant skyscraper temple with a dragon, which its creator dreamed of during meditation
The Buddhist temple Wat Samphran in Thailand is very extravagant even for this country, because it is an 80-meter tower of bright pink color, entwined with a scaly dragon. Despite the fact that this building is located only fifty kilometers from Bangkok, this attraction is not very popular with tourists. But in vain. After all, it is incredibly beautiful here, besides, you can even climb up to the very belly of the dragon building
Nightclub in broad daylight: Lunch Beat - a new social movement in Sweden
Lunch break is a time when anyone, even the most responsible employee, is “vulnerable” and tends to relax a little. After a delicious lunch, you just want to forget that the second half of the day is still ahead, and carelessly plunge into the arms of Morpheus. Remember at least the Spanish siesta - that's really who knows how to relax wonderfully! But the Swedes, on the contrary, prefer not to succumb to a lazy mood and spend their lunch break in a fun and active way. A new social is gaining momentum in Sweden
Meditation with the artist Jack Haas
Wide strokes, soft colors and soothing subjects: all this is harmoniously combined in the work of the artist Jack Haas. “The most important thing in my work is the connection with the world, each person must understand that he is beautiful and harmonious! And only a connection with the cosmos through the manifestation and discovery of one's abilities can convey this great idea to everyone together and each individually: the world is boundless and beautiful, it loves us and we must reciprocate it! Social Media Propaganda Poster: A series of concise and inventive social media posters
Like the tentacles of a giant Octopus, social networks embrace, envelop the entire Internet, penetrating deeper and deeper into it, and more and more densely sitting in the mind of a person, eating a fair chunk of his time (mainly a worker), and sometimes occupying an important position in his life. Social networks are friends and enemies, they have fun, love, sell and buy … In light of this popularity, it is not surprising that the American artist Justonescarf depicted social networks in a series of his posters called Soc
