Video: Sculpture Surrealistika, or kitchen on wood. IKEA advertising and ecological art project

World renowned furniture company IKEA not so long ago made people talk about themselves even more. Yes, not just anywhere, but in London, where almost in the very center of the city "grew" an unusual, I would even say, a very strange tree. With this sculpture, which was given the name " Surrealistika", the Swedish furniture company decided to strengthen its position in the market, presenting the whole action as a carefully thought out art project with an ecological bias. It is not hard to guess what the unusual sculpture is made of: the silvery tree is made from the company's products, and all kinds of objects are comfortably settled on its branches and accessories for modern kitchens, canteens and dining rooms, so IKEA wants to show that it understands the importance of the relationship between humans and nature, and that their products do not pose any threat to the environment.
But if we discard all this "green" philosophy, we are left with only a sculpture, or, if you like, a giant installation in the form of a kitchen on a tree. Moreover, the tree itself looks very stylish and pretentious: the silvery "bark" is beautifully illuminated by lamps of different colors, and it turns green, then blue, then pink. By the way, you can watch the demo video right now:

Naked people-chameleons in the ecological body art project "Bodyscapes"
Connoisseurs of photography have come to love Jean-Paul Bourdieu for his ability to work with color. Ordinary landscapes, thanks to the photographer, begin to play with all the colors of the rainbow. Bourdieu is best known for his art project "Bodyscapes". The images of the wilderness of Africa, untouched by man, became the backdrop for all the works in the series. According to the author's idea, the painted bodies of nude models, like chameleons, merge with the general landscape or harmoniously complement it
An ecological disaster, which the media is silent about, in the unique photographs of the "Spill" project
Most of us still remember the catastrophe of a planetary scale that happened in the Gulf of Mexico in 2010. The big media, funded by corporations and politicians, prefer to keep silent about its consequences. However, photographer Daniel Beltra, who witnessed the disaster, does not agree with this position. He hopes that a series of terrifying photographs called "Spill" will not let you forget about the trouble looming over humanity
Kitchen cabinets and open shelves: a multicultural series of "kitchen portraits" by Erik Klein Wolterink
The kitchen is a favorite place for all household members. It is in the kitchens that everyone gathers at the same table, where culinary masterpieces are born and intimate conversations are held over a cup of evening tea. Photographer Erik Klein Wolterink came to the conclusion that the kitchen can tell more about a person than any other room. A resourceful Dutchman in an unusual photo project elicited secrets from all kinds of cabinets and shelves
Advertising as an art form. Creative advertising overview
Honestly, I don't even remember what the advertisement was 15-20 years ago, but those who remember claim that it was something terrible, wretched and dull spectacle, in general, a complete waste of time for those who advertise this ordered, and for those who, by the will of fate, were forced to watch it in between their favorite programs or in the middle of an interesting film. Fortunately, the times of poor advertising have passed, and the time has come for creative advertising. Moreover, some experts sometimes attribute the production of advertisements
Keepers of the forest. Revived tree spirits in an ecological art project from studio Zonenkinder
The hills have eyes and the trees have faces. Not all trees, no. Only those who have become part of an ecological art project from a creative duo called Zonenkinder. The Tree Project was founded back in 2006-2007 in Germany, the homeland of the art duo. Then the trees of German parks, reserves and forest belts became the "keepers of the forest". Today the project covers most of Europe, in particular Germany, France, Denmark, Norway
