Many artists undoubtedly drink coffee during their work, fueled by vigor and energy from this drink. But Karen Eland went further - she started painting with coffee! Take a look at these gorgeous copies of masterpieces of world painting and believe that the artist did not need paint when creating them.
The love of coffee was born in one of the New Orleans coffee shops, where Karen came every day to sketch a portrait of her boyfriend. Later, the artist changed her place of residence, moving to the city of Tulsa (Oklahoma), but her love for the aromatic drink remained: Karen could not deny herself the pleasure of drinking a cup of espresso at Nordaggio's Coffee. In the end, the love of art and love of coffee became so strong that Karen decided to tie them together: this is how the idea of painting with coffee was born.
“I first got the idea to paint coffee pictures when I saw a thick brown espresso in my own cup. Since I love hot lattes, I thought - why not take my love for coffee to the next level? I dipped my brush into the coffee and started painting. To my great joy, everything turned out great."
The artist uses espresso "straight from the coffee maker" to create her paintings, although sometimes she lets the drink brew for several days to get deeper and darker tones. Among the works of Karen there are many author's versions of paintings by recognized world masters. These are, for example, the works of Matisse and Picasso, La Gioconda da Vinci and a fragment of a painting from the Sistine Chapel … The works of Karen Eland could be called copies, if not for one thing: she does not blindly copy paintings, but brings her own small hatch. What do you think? Of course, a cup of hot aromatic coffee.
The process of creating pictures from coffee is pleasant in every way. Most often, Karen draws in coffee shops, surrounded by the exquisite aroma of freshly brewed coffee and the sounds of muffled conversations … "This environment is incredibly inspiring," says the artist and hopes that each of her paintings will immerse the viewer in the same warm atmosphere in which she was created.

Tea and coffee instead of paints. Paintings by Radislav Dzyuba
There is nothing better than a hot cup of tea or coffee on a frosty winter day. You can't argue with that, but we are not going to. So, someone prefers to start a new day with a fragrant drink, and slowly, skillfully savor every drop of freshly brewed "life-giving moisture". One million coffee beans. One World, One Family, One Coffee: another mosaic of Saimir Strati
This Albanian maestro, multiple "record holder" for mosaics, Saimir Strati, has already been met by the readers of Culturology.Ru on the pages of the site. It was he who created a painting of 300,000 screws and a portrait of Leonardo da Vinci from nails, and also laid out images from corks and toothpicks. And the new mosaic, on which the author is working today, probably cost him more than one hundred cups of strong aromatic coffee, since he lays it out from a million coffee beans
