Who among us does not remember the legendary address "3rd Stroiteley Street, 25, Apartment 12"? The story of how Zhenya Lukashin confused the St. Petersburg and Moscow apartment on New Year's Eve, not seeing the difference in faceless high-rise buildings, is known throughout the post-Soviet space. But if we were talking about a Moscow house in which he lives artist Dmitry Bochkarev, then such a curiosity would clearly not have happened. Our compatriot creatively approached the process of "ennobling" his entrance and turned it into an art gallery, decorating the walls with cartoon drawings.

Muscovite Dmitry Bochkarev is a real enthusiast and creates, first of all, for the benefit of others. 17 years ago, he experienced clinical death, after which he saw himself in a dream as an artist. The guy tried to draw and discovered his real talent. When he felt ready to move from sheets of paper to larger-scale canvases, he decided to enlist the support of the residents of his house in the village of Biryulyovo and start transforming the entrance walls. Soon, the neighbors of Dmitry Bochkarev, instead of the usual walls, saw drawings depicting beautiful landscapes or funny characters from their favorite cartoons.

The residents of the unique house are delighted with Dmitry's works. Going out into the street, people began to smile more often, everyone tries to maintain cleanliness on the stairwells, and local hooligans stopped leaving ugly graffiti and hard-hitting inscriptions on the walls. Guests from nearby houses even began to visit the unusual entrance to see this beauty with their own eyes.

It took Dmitry several years to transform an ordinary 12-story building into an impromptu gallery of modern art. He was inspired by newspapers, books and magazines. Climbing the stairs, you can see a variety of pictures: there is a cute Mickey Mouse, and a fabulous medieval castle, and even several spaceships. In the entrance there are still several gray walls, which the artist promises to "fill" in the near future, now he, together with the residents, decides what will be depicted on them.
