Nebula humilis - ecological series of photographs by a Spanish photographer Lola Guerrerawho went to the Mexican desert for inspiration.
The concept of this creative project is the desire of the photographer to draw attention to the problem of excessive, irrational exploitation of natural resources in this region and the global trend of promoting materialism.
The once sacred desert is silently watching the actions of people. With her works, Lola Gurrera is trying to give a voice to this large-scale area of the earth's landscape.
Colored smoke emanating from the desert hills, like a smoke bomb, signals the threat of depletion of land resources. And yet, this smoke resembles a volcanic eruption, showing the viewer how both delicate and strong the connection between man and the earth is, between our actions and their consequences, leading to devastation.
The Nebula Humilis project strives to express its environmental protest in a feminine, delicate and beautiful way by creating works of contemporary art in photography.
