Artist Pablo Jurado Ruiz was born in Malaga, Spain in 1973. Through his unusual creativity, he tells stories about love, disappointment, childhood, nature … Pablo works in an unusual technique - pointillism, one of the stylistic trends of this type of fine art as impressionism.
Pointillism (from French pointillisme, literally "point", from French point - point) is characterized by a peculiar manner of writing - isolated strokes of a point-shaped form are applied to the canvas. To achieve a special visual effect, the followers of this trend never mix paint.
It's amazing how much detail an artist can convey by putting tiny dots on the surface of the paper! Interestingly, Pablo Ruiz uses only black ink for his work. “First of all, I strive to tell the story of a person,” the master admits, “I like the simple, minimalistic technique in which I work.”
Even as a child, the young man showed a talent for drawing - he liked to express his thoughts with pencils and paper. Later, seriously carried away by painting, he began to scrupulously study the work of such famous painters as Gustav Klimt, Egon Schiele, Georges Seurat, Vincent Van Gogh, Pablo Picasso … These great masters had a huge influence on the work of Pablo Ruiz.
Pablo received his art education at the School of Arts and Crafts in Malaga, after which he lived for several years in Alaska and the UK. Now he returned to his native Spain, where he lives today.
