If all of a sudden famous stylists and fashion houses stopped producing clothes and accessories and started cooking … For example, making confectionery or pastries - what would these delicious masterpieces, decorated with logos of famous brands, look like? This question was asked by a pop stylist Lisa Edsalv from Sweden, and not only wondered, but soon presented to the public a series of stylish designer cupcakes "haute couture" … Liza Edsalv combined in her project two unchanging feminine passions: fashionable clothes and sweets. The profession of a stylist obliges the girl to follow the fashion and understand the peculiarities of each brand, and she loves cupcakes, chocolates and sweets since childhood, so it was a pleasure to work on a series of fashionable cupcakes. As a result, each designer cupcake has all the necessary signs that make it possible to recognize a particular fashion house in it.
So, we recognize the strict and laconic Chanel by the "pearl" droplets of white cream on the chocolate icing covering the top of the cake, the branded scarlet sole of Christian Louboutin - by the filling of the same color hidden in the cake under a layer of dark chocolate, and the retro-style cake indicates a vintage the style of the Betsey Johnson brand. And, of course, the traditional LV cupcake decor can mean nothing more than the Louis Vuitton brand.
In addition to these fashion houses, Vera Wang and Agent Provocateur also acquired "personal cupcakes" with the light hand of Lisa Edsalve. What their representatives think about "haute couture" cooking is still unknown.

How Velazquez and Goya inspired haute couture for the 20th century's most daring fashion designer
Cristobal Balenciaga once said that "a good fashion designer must be an architect for patterns, a sculptor for form, an artist for design, a musician for harmony, and a philosopher for fit." Not surprisingly, in the 20th century, he ruled high fashion with innovative clothing inspired by unusually traditional Spanish sources. The Basque fashion designer took cues from regional clothing, folk costumes, bullfighting, flamenco dances, Catholicism and, of course, from the history of painting. And in ito
Appetizing yet inedible cooking. Cynthia Ray art project
Knitting has become a popular trend not only in design but also in art. So, more and more often we observe interesting art projects related (there will be a pun here) with knitting. Take, for example, the recent knitted skeleton, or knitted and embroidered sandwiches, or knitted dresses in the form of food. Textile artist Cynthia Ray also seems to have a lot of respect for delicious food. And at his leisure, he creates knitted counterparts of his favorite dishes
Wire Couture Collection: Haute Couture in Barbed Wire
The dresses that Leigh Pennebaker creates are very reminiscent of fashion illustrations in the photographs. But in this case, they would hardly stand out among thousands of their own kind. In fact, the stylish and graceful works of our heroine are sculptures made of rigid barbed wire
Made with love. Cooking of caring grandmothers in the Delicatessen with Love art project by Gabriele Galimberti
"My grandmother doesn't care if I'm a Satanist, goth or emo. The main thing is that I eat well" - this widespread Internet joke actually consists entirely of truth, because it is the grandmother who cares more than other relatives that the grandchildren eat well and dress warmly. Therefore, she knits them socks, sweaters and scarves, and for the long-awaited visit she will certainly cook up as many goodies as even a dozen hungry grandchildren cannot eat. Moreover, this behavior is typical for all grandmothers, regardless of
Celebration holes: designer uses scissors to transform casual clothes into haute couture
Adam Saaks is an outrageous designer who creates fashion models with … scissors. For 14 years now, he has been honing his skills, and, it should be admitted, he has developed an original style. In front of an amazed audience, he turns ordinary black bodysuits, dresses and leggings into designer things that favorably emphasize the beautiful figures of the models. The result is impressive
