A real man, a young artist Ian Cook from Birmingham at one time listened to a woman, and did the opposite. And as a result, he found not only his vocation, but also gained fame all over the world, in particular, in the circles of connoisseurs and creators of contemporary art. This woman was the young man's mother, who once gave him a radio-controlled car for Christmas, and warned that the son who was keen on painting would not stain it with paint. Of course, Ian Cook hastened to do the opposite, and today he is a renowned artist who paints his paintings … using toy car wheels … An artist by training, Ian Cook first painted like all "ordinary people", but he especially loved to do art tuning, painting cars to order, turning them into works of art. Love for cars and painting, as well as natural curiosity, prompted him to try his new car with radio control as a brush. Dipping the toy in paint, the artist "taxied" the huge sheets of paper, distributing the paint. At first, the tire prints remained where it was necessary, and only then the artist purposefully forced the car to go to one corner, then to another, then to circle on the spot.
Of course, such an art game could not fail to capture the artist. Moreover, considering that we are all still children at heart, and even men - and even more so. So soon the car park in Ian Cook's workshop expanded significantly, and the paintings became more and more interesting. Annually, from 75 to 100 works come out from the hands of the author, and some were created by order of both large automotive corporations and other equally well-known and reputable brands. It is known that the artist's "automobile" canvases participated in promo campaigns for Ford, Mercedes, and for Reebok Ian Cook created a huge 12x8 meter portrait of Lewis Hamilton.
Thanks to his extraordinary painting style, he received the nickname Pic-cars-so, - this is how he is known all over the world today. You can get acquainted with his original work on the PopBangColour website.
