Clouds, clouds, the colors of a white dream … Especially on a fine autumn day, when it is sunny and calm outside. Probably, on one of these days, the designer Yu Jordy Fu took it into his head to create an unusual Cloud Walk chandelier-cloud. It was with this art project that he performed at the famous London Design Festival 2009, which has only been talked about lately.
The project looks airy, weightless, lacy, and this is not surprising. "Lampshade" is completely cut from recycled paper - 100% handmade.
Such creativity of the designer was inspired by Chinese traditions. Everyone knows that the Chinese are skilled craftsmen of paper products, so Yu Jordy Fu decided to try himself in this field. To prevent fire, all paper elements of the chandelier are treated with a special aerosol, and in order for the piece to fit in a small room, it can be disassembled into several parts. The result is a whole collection of creative paper clouds.

Why giraffes keep chandeliers: Ironic kitsch or outright bad taste from a fashionable sculptor
Can you imagine something slightly odd and flashy at the same time? The brainchild of fashionable Italian designer and sculptor Marcantonio Raimondi Malerba, giraffes holding chandeliers in their teeth. Someone will say that this is bad taste, while someone will like a unique and original piece of furniture. So what is hiding behind the kitsch in the works of an ironic artist, subtle style or hack?
Air lamps, cloud lamps, paper lamps
Remember how in the elementary grades of school and in the preparatory group of the kindergarten we had to cut out all sorts of handicrafts from colored paper like snowflakes, Christmas trees, lanterns? It was especially difficult to make flashlights: scissors now and then tried to cut more paper than was needed, and then the flashlight ceased to be as beautiful as the one that the teacher showed. At least that's how it was with me … London-based designer Yu Jordy Fu, apparently, does not have such problems with the manufacture of flashlights

Are you tired of the familiar design of your room, and you want to add some new notes to it? For example, to make the chandelier not just a source of light, but also the cause of enthusiastic and surprised exclamations of your friends and acquaintances? If all of the above is true, then you should definitely pay attention to the work of the talented Dutch designer Hans Van Bentem (Hans Van Bentem), whose skill is trusted by the powers that be

Mushroom Cloud: A mushroom cloud of mushrooms. Installation by Chris Drury
"… For a long time the guys could not understand what kind of" fungus "grows in the distance" - this is how a good half of the bloodthirsty stories about a little boy that children told each other when I went to school ends. A similar "fungus" has grown in the portfolio of contemporary artist Chris Drury, except that nothing had to be blown up for this, and no one was hurt. This peaceful installation is called Mushroom Cloud
