I think that each of us from childhood knows the Biblical legend about the Flood and the ark built by Noah to save his family and animals, a couple of each species. Dutchman Johan Huibers was so imbued with this story that he created a copy of the biblical ship, however, five times smaller.
Construction of the giant ship began in May 2005. For the construction of the ark, the length of which reaches 67.5 meters, the height is 13.5 meters, and the width is 9 meters, 1200 trees were used - cedar and pine. It took Johan Huybers 20 weeks to saw them into planks. Almost all of the construction and carpentry work was done by the craftsman and his son by hand using modern tools. The total cost of the project is just under 1 million euros.
Johann Hubers's Ark is open to everyone who wants to visit it, because it is, first of all, a museum and a zoo. At the entrance you are greeted with sculptures of giraffes, elephants, lions, crocodiles, bison, zebras and many other animals. And on the open deck there is even a small zoo with lambs, chickens, kids, rabbits and horses. There is also a small cinema with 50 seats on the ship, where visitors will be shown a film-story about Noah and the Great Flood.
Interestingly, Johan Hubers' giant ship is only a fifth of the real Noah's ark. The amazing work of the Dutch master is simple! It is difficult even to imagine how much effort and time was spent.

Paper ones, but as if they were alive. Realistic bird figures by Johan Scherft
It is not at all necessary to turn the birds into stuffed animals and put them under a glass cover in order to decorate the interior in this way or to prepare a training manual. The latest technology, as well as the creative talent of artists will help to avoid this by replacing living birds with paper sculptures. Artificial, but as real - this is how the figurines of birds from the Dutch artist Johan Scherft are obtained

How Americans sent radicals to Lenin as a Christmas present: "Soviet Ark"
The 1917 revolution not only changed Russia, but also seriously affected American society. With the filing of the US Attorney General, raids began against radical left citizens. As a result, 249 "suspicious persons", who posed a threat to American society, were arrested and deported to Russia on the ship Buford on December 21, 1919. The flight went down in history as the "Soviet Ark", since the overwhelming majority of passengers were Russian immigrants. The US press called this demonstrative p
It's hard to believe, but these realistic paintings were made not in oil or watercolors, but with ordinary ballpoint pens
“All I have is just eight colored ballpoint pens,” says self-taught Portuguese artist Samuel Silva, who creates stunningly realistic paintings that are so hard to distinguish from photographs. According to the author, he never mixes colors, but only applies several layers of ink with strokes so that the illusion of mixing and various colors is obtained, which he actually does not have
