Elena Kalis is convinced that Alice in Wonderland is a story that is not subject to the passage of time. In addition, it is open to interpretation, which is why so many creative people use this motive in their works. Elena herself took on Carroll's story for several reasons. First, this is her favorite fairy tale. Secondly, her daughter is ten years old - the same as Alice. The girl feels great underwater, and therefore it was she who became the photographer's model, ideally playing the role of Carroll's heroine.
Elena's main inspiration in her work is the ocean. According to the photographer, it is always different, changing every second. He never ceases to amaze and is a great source of inspiration. The author also confesses his great love for the fairy tales of the Brothers Grimm and believes that they also influenced her work.
Elena Kalis specializes in underwater photography. She has been engaged in this type of creativity for about a year and is not going to leave this occupation, since she believes that here she still has a lot of unrealized opportunities. Elena was born in Moscow, Russia and has lived in the Bahamas for the past ten years.
