He paints with small drops of paint, and the result is huge installations that are somewhere in the middle between the reality of a sculptural object and the spectral illusion of a hologram.

Canadian artist Chris Dorosz transforms traditional painting, giving it new functions and forms, achieving the illusion of depth in his works. Chris Dorosh creates intricate sculptures using a lattice of acrylic planks, threads, or plastic plates that are covered with small droplets of paint to recreate the effect of three-dimensional paintings. Most of his works are small wall sculptures, but the artist also creates large-format installations, depicting full-length people, and even furniture sets.

Artist Chris Dorosh probably has a ton of patience. One can only imagine how many hours he spent creating his sculptures, which are composed of tiny droplets of paint, forming a wavy and oscillating pixel field of paint on an unusual canvas. "A drop of paint is a form that takes shape not only thanks to a brush, or a human gesture, but also directly because of its viscosity and the air through which it falls," says Chris Dorosh.
