Probably, no one has ever told Singaporean artists that one cannot play with bread. Otherwise, they would never have started to create a huge bread sculpture in the form of a Formula 1 car, which is now on display at the Royal Plaza on Scotts in Singapore, and will be on display there until September 27, where everyone can see this edible masterpiece with their own eyes.
A bread copy of a Formula 1 car was created from 22 types of bread and 1000 loaves. The creative team at Royal Plaza on Scotts used 15 kilograms of yeast, 14 liters of water and 2 kilograms of salt. A team of 6 chefs, 2 artists, 2 technicians and 5 volunteers worked on the culinary masterpiece. It took 549 hours of teamwork to create the race car, and spent $ 15,000. Every part of the car is edible except for the supporting structure that holds the bread. The result clearly demonstrates that the authors' idea turned out to be quite appetizing.
Visitors to the hotel are asked to guess how many kilograms of flour were used to create this vehicle. And the winner will receive a cash prize of $ 1,000.
