The art of painting with light has many names. It is also called light graffiti, light painting, freezelight, light graphics, light writing or light art. However, the principle of work of light artists, regardless of how they prefer to call themselves, is the same. Darkness, a camera with a long exposure, a source of light - be it at least a match, at least a cigarette, at least a flashlight or a powerful searchlight, and a few of the same people who like to shine and take pictures - that's all you need to do light graphics. What, is it really all..?
The answer to this question depends solely on what kind of success the light artist wants to achieve in the future. If you just have fun in the company of friends, then this is really all you need. But if the hunt is not just waving a burning branch in front of the camera, but creating real light shows, surprising and delighting the audience, then this is definitely not enough.
These photographs are the work of two artists from Bremen, Jan Wullert and Jurg Miedza, who, in fact, specialize in organizing light art perfomance. Looking at the pictures, it seems that UFOs and aliens actually exist and from time to time come down to earth with only one known target. We have already written about freezlighters, masters of lighting and photographers of lights, but all these works "do not take off" in comparison with what these German guys can do.
