Some people leave all sorts of shapeless squiggles on the walls and call it "graffiti" and proudly call themselves "artists." They should see the work of the Argentine street artist under the pseudonym Hyuro. This is what real graffiti is - beautiful and poetic.
The artist with the nickname Hyuro was born in Argentina, but now lives in Spain and works on the streets of Spanish cities. He turns their dirty, faceless walls into real works of art. He paints them in his own street style. And these are, indeed, paintings, and not scribbles from aerosol paint, as we are used to imagining graffiti thanks to the "creativity" of thousands of would-be artists.
Hyuro's work combines many styles and trends of fine art. This is modern Western avant-garde, and primitivism inherent in the painting of South American Indians, and the classical style and graphics.
Critics, like ordinary residents of Spanish cities, are delighted with the work of Hyuro. They note the uniqueness of the artist's artistic manner and its incredible expressiveness. For this, Hyuro's street paintings are nicknamed "poetic graffiti".
