One of the famous aphorisms of the Chinese tea sage Lu Yu says: "If you drink tea for a long time, wings can grow." It seems that a true connoisseur of this drink, who devoted his life to tea-drinking ceremonies, knew what he was saying: tea truly inspires creativity. A great example of this is work Moscow designer Andrey Gorkovenkowhich has created a series of astounding drawings of crushed tea leaves. These illustrations became an advertisement for Triptea tea.
For each type of tea, the designer has created separate illustrations corresponding to its place of origin. The black tea packages depict a picturesque Ceylon landscape, while green tea is packaged in packages with paintings of the Great Wall of China and the pagoda.
There is no doubt that the desire to buy tea in such an original package will visit everyone to whom Triptea falls into their hands. It's nice that the artist created real works of art, and not just another faceless advertising poster. It should be noted that attempts to "bring" the taste of tea into art before Andrei Gorkovenko were also undertaken by other artists. On our website Kulturologiya.ru, we have already written about paintings with the scent of tea by the British artist Carne Griffiths, about tea instead of paints on the canvases of Kiev resident Radislav Dziuba, as well as about tea wall decorations by Spanish artist Valeria Bourjoa.
