This 87-year-old grandmother is a real example of love of life and diligence. Every day the old woman tries to make the world a little better and more beautiful. She paints the facades of the houses with traditional floral designs. Trembling hands, pain in the legs and lower back cannot make her give up what she loves.
Everyone from the village of Louka in South Moravia knows a grandmother Agnes Kašpárková and speaks of her with love and respect. And all because most of the facades of houses with traditional floral motifs are painted by her. An 87-year-old woman, doing what she loves, says she "just wants to make the world a little better."
Agnes started painting houses 30 years ago after her retirement. During this time, my grandmother was able to arrange almost all the houses in the district. Due to her age, Agnes is no longer able to work every day. But every time, with the onset of spring, the grandmother gets to work. First, she updates the drawings on the local church, climbing through the forests to the very top. Then he creates something of his own. The blue color contrasts perfectly with the traditional white walls of Moravian houses. It turns out very elegant and pleasing to the eye. The craftswoman claims that for work it is necessary to use only expensive and high-quality paint, then the drawings will not fade for two years.
Although Agnes's style is somewhat simpler, it resembles motives painted houses in the famous Polish village of Zalipie … The most interesting thing is that the buildings in the village were not preserved as exhibits, people still live in them.
