We have already talked about street artists from different parts of the world, we mentioned about five names. However, there are hundreds of them, and the rest may be offended by our inattention. What other talents are hidden in the street culture of different cities of the world - from Kiev to London?
Let's start with Kiev. The duo Interesni Kazki ("Interesting Tales") lives there, which have been painting the gloomy walls (as well as rusty barrels and gates) of the city for quite a long time. They have accumulated more than a dozen works. The duo consists of guys named Waone and Aec. With an impressive experience in wall painting (over 10 years), these artists are almost the only representatives of street art in the country. Maybe 3-4 more people. Moreover, they achieved popularity abroad - their exhibition "Paranoya & Shtrihi" was held in France. Their drawings are a mixture of surrealism and symbolism, and the combination of these trends gives viewers the opportunity to plunge into a new world, with a completely different consciousness, freed from illusions. Interesni Kazki touch on the themes of the meaning of life, God, evil, the universe, as well as political themes mixed with very wonderful fairy tales.
Next a masterpiece of street art waiting for us in the Irish city of Killerney. A craftsman named Vango painted the famous scientist Isaac Newton on the wall next to a real tree. As you know, Newton's discovery of the law of universal gravitation is associated precisely with the apple that fell on his head. Wango realized this idea very effectively, creating a kind of three-dimensional installation at the expense of a wall, a few glued apples and a tree.
From Ireland we will dash for a minute to London, fortunately, not very far. The 28-year-old Dutch stencil artist Fake has silhouettes of a cute couple in several places at once, calling it Fake love. Here you can see other works of the artist, for example, a direct sequel to Fake love called Love hurts. Fake is a street artist with 12 years of experience.
Then we have to break apart. After all, the English artist Hush and his series of works "Hymn to Beauty", depicting a cute girl in anime style, adorns the wall of a house in Venice and the wall of an exhibition hall in Hollywood. Creativity of this guy is often described as "a sensual assault on form, color and character." The result is an amazing synthesis of anime, pop culture, revealing the conflict between strength and withering, innocence and sexuality, between Western and Eastern culture. More information about this artist can be found on his blog.
