Space Invader (or Space Invader) - this is one of the most famous figures of modern street art. Moreover, his work has long outgrown the boundaries of the actual streets. His work has visited the International Space Station, and recently went underwater, becoming part of the underwater sculptures of Jason deCaires Taylor.
Artist Jason Taylor has become famous in recent years for a whole underwater sculpture park that he consistently creates in the coastal waters near the Mexican city of Cancun. Millions of people from all over the world travel to this settlement, including in order to dive around this man-made beauty, which, according to the author's idea, is destined to turn into coral reefs after a while.
The Space Invader, a French street artist who puts up small mosaics on the streets of cities around the world, depicting characters from the 1978 video game of the same name, decided to join Jason Taylor's work. Space Invader's work can be found on the streets of cities on six continents of the Earth, at the International Space Station, in the world's largest galleries, and now underwater, where they look just as amazing as anywhere else.
The Space Invader himself states that he has been following Jason Taylor's creative activities for a long time. He understands the enormous importance that underwater sculptures have for the ecology of the Gulf of Mexico. That is why Space Invader is very happy to help this author turn photography into his work through its extraordinary mosaics.
So far, the Space Invaders have "invaded" only a few of Jason Taylor's works. But both artists assure that their creative collaboration will continue in the future. Perhaps in a slightly different form.
