Arjowiggins is known around the world as a manufacturer of high quality, environmentally friendly paper. And since paper has always been a very popular material for creativity, it is not surprising that almost every advertising move of this company can be called a real work of art.
We have already talked about the collaboration of Arjowiggins with a French photographer Gregoire alexandre … This time, the company's management needed to decorate the windows of their department store, and to implement this idea, it was decided to turn to the design studio Le Creative Sweatshop. Naturally, there were no questions about what material would serve as the basis for this work. The designers had only paper at their disposal, and they accomplished their task brilliantly.
In the windows of the multi-storey department store Le Creative Sweatshop, they created installations where everything is made of paper, except for mannequins. A huge paper swan, a garden of outlandish plants, chaotically scattered fragments … Some elements of the installation in the photographs generally look like samples of digital art, and not like compositions made of paper. The creative installation was named “La rinascente in Palermo”.
Le Creative Sweatshop is a creative agency formed by Mathieu Missiaen and Julien Morin in January 2009. In this short period of time, the authors have already managed to create a series of fashionable paper accessories for Canadian stylist Heidi Ackerman and New York photographer Tchad Muller. In addition, Le Creative Sweatshop works on the creation of paper interiors and various installations.
