Anatomy lessons can be enjoyable and fun when plants are used as human organs. This idea came to the head of the artist Camila Carlow, who created 13 photographs depicting human organs. The artist laid out all the compositions from wild plants and weeds growing in Bristol. Unique flower sculptures exactly repeat human organs and amaze with their organic nature and beauty.
The plants were picked early in the day to make them look their best in photographs, as flowers have a tendency to wilt. This project invites the viewer to view the vital organs of the body as beautiful pictures.
For the first time, the collection of flowering body organs was shown at the designer's solo exhibition in Bristol in October 2011. The photographs were a resounding success and, after their debut, were shown in exhibition halls: Cabot Circus (October 2012), Colston Hall Gift Fair and Christmas Steps in December 2012, Back2Health in April 2013. The next exhibition will take place in October 2013 at the Fromeshaw Gallery.
By the way, designers have already made attempts to create a living anatomical atlas. But before, the exhibits were not plants, but people themselves.

Internal organs and other parts of the human body made of aluminum wire
Both when communicating with people and when working with materials for creativity, appearances can sometimes be deceiving. Who would have thought that ordinary, cold and hard aluminum wire is able to turn into amazing sculptures of trees, and not inferior in beauty and grace to living bonsai and ornamental plants? Museum of the Human Body: How to Get Inside a Giant Body and Not Go Crazy
Who said that only in a fairy tale or science fiction movie can a person get inside the body of a giant and get out of there unharmed? In the Netherlands, for example, this is quite possible - and this is not at all a hint that drugs are legalized in this country. It's just that there is the world's only Museum of the Human Body, created so realistically that visitors are already breathtaking. Right from the doorway, you enter the human body and can move through all parts of the huge body
Glass organs with LED lighting. Sculptures from the Anatomical Neon series
Like physicists who are also lyricists and athletes who write scientific works, the sculptural works of the Scottish author Jessica Lloyd-Jones can be called art, science and technology at the same time. Anatomically correct internal organs of a person, made of thin glass, figures from the Anatomical Neon series can be both a sculptural composition and a model, a visual exhibit for students studying the structure of a person
Weapons made of meat and organs made of wood: the new work of Dmitry Tsykalov
We have already seen the works that this artist creates, and it is difficult to forget them - not everyone can boast of skulls carved from fruit. But Dmitry Tsykalov, already known to us, did not stop there: he does not carve anything out of wood, but human organs, arranging it into an installation, and releases photographs of girls hung with meat weapons
Giant human organs made of glass from designer Sigga Heimis
Human organs have always inspired artists and designers to create original and rather unusual masterpieces. Some of them were used simply as beautiful exhibits of the exhibition, with the help of the rest it was possible to study anatomy, examining one or another part of the body with one's own eyes. I must admit that human organs made of glass look much better than a real skeleton, which some biology laboratories are so proud of. At least that's what the designer Sigga Heimis, who creates the giant, thinks
