Wood has long been the most popular material - it is easy to process, durable, and you can make whatever your heart desires from it. If you want a roof over your head, build houses. If you want to amuse the children, carve dolls, horses and swords from wood. Lee Stoetzel wants to impress people - and carves copies of real non-wood objects from wood.
According to the Novate. Ru project, Li has been exhibiting his works in museums around the world for a long time. For example, this military jeep, the material for which was cypress, is exhibited in London from 2006 to 2010.
One of the last works of Stotzel was this Volkswagen van, in which, in addition to wood (cypress), steel was also used - to fasten some parts together.
However, it would be wrong to say that Lee uses only wood in his works. Some of his crafts are made using small stones, paint and other materials that enhance the overall impression of what he sees.
Lee is engaged not only in wooden copies, but also in unusual photography. In his McMansions project, a miniature house that he rented is made of McDonald's food - french fries, windows made of plastic glasses, Chicken McNuggets turned into stones.. In general, Stotzel is a master of materials and does not hesitate to use the most unusual things. Probably, many Americans would agree to live in such a house.

Wooden sculptures on the streets of Simferopol
Miracles are always man-made, and, as a rule, it is our care that is the key to success. It would seem that one person can hardly change the appearance of the city, turn it into a real open-air museum. It turns out that everything is possible, and one in the field is a warrior. More precisely, a sculptor, and not in the field - but in the Crimean city of Simferopol.
