Remember the Soviet film about great and sincere love "The whole world is in your eyes"? Perhaps this is how the new project of the popular Indonesian artist could be titled Veri Apriyatno - drawings of the eyes, which reflect a variety of episodes from everyday life. The author named a series of hyperrealistic images "The Witnesses" ("The Witnesses").
We have already introduced the readers of the site Culturology. Ru to the multidimensional self-portraits of Veri Apriyatno. The Indonesian artist is rapidly gaining popularity on the Web, delighting us with new creative experiments. The master creates "big-eyed" drawings using a mixed technique: charcoal, pencil, acrylic paints - the symbiosis of these materials helps to achieve incredibly realistic images.
Veri Apriyatno masterfully draws eyes, paying attention to the smallest details. An accurately traced eyeball, thin eyelashes, light folds of the eyelid and, of course, the reflection of the most incredible scenes in the cornea of the eye. “Eyes are the mirror of the soul,” these words are as old as the world. In the works of Veri Apriyatno, this idea sounds like a leitmotif, since the eyes really become tiny mirrors, prompting the viewer to think, in which everything is clear without words.
The eyes are a mystery that artists are trying to solve. A glance is often more eloquent than words, therefore it is so important to catch that fine line that can convey all shades of feelings. Such artists as Marion Bolognezi and Sveni Yodike were able to approach the comprehension of human worlds; we have already introduced our readers to their eye drawings.
