Hyperrealism is one of the most popular trends in contemporary art. The ability to recreate familiar objects with pencils or pens is a talent that many artists possess. True, not everyone succeeds in deceiving the viewer, making him believe that in front of him is not just a real banknote, newspaper or deck of cards, but a sheet of paper with a skillfully executed drawing. The real professional in this regard is the Milanese artist Marcello Barenghi.
Marcello Berengi draws objects that we encounter in everyday life. It seems that it is enough to reach out and you can touch a package of chips or a bottle of whiskey, play with a Rubik's cube or lay out a deck of cards. Images look not only photographically accurate but also three-dimensional. It brings Marcello Berengi's drawings closer to pencil 3-D illusions by Fredo and 3-D drawings by Alessandro Diddi.
It takes an artist from 4 to 6 hours of painstaking work to create one drawing. He shoots the whole process on video, and then makes three-minute videos in which you can see how a masterpiece is born. Of course, the artistic value of such drawings is rather arbitrary, but in our age, when art more and more entertains the consumer than teaches, their relevance is obvious. And Pushkin's: โOh, it's not difficult to deceive me! I'm glad to be deceived myself! " so far no one has canceled, so you can safely be "deceived" by the wonderful volumetric drawings of Marcello Berengi.
