Hyperrealist artists - real wizards, because their paintings are almost impossible to distinguish from photographs. The first international online exhibition organized by the Pencil Art Society has recently started its work. As you might guess from the name, this organization brings together artists who draw with pencils. The real discovery of the exhibition was the work of an artist from Madrid Adolfo Fernandez Rodriguez.
If you glance at the pictures painted by Adolfo Rodriguez, it may well seem that you are looking at photographs. Taking a closer look, we can assume that these are oil paintings. However, it is unlikely that it will be possible to suspect that the artist has only colored pencils in his arsenal. 60 pencil drawings are available in the Internet exposition, among which those of Adolfo Rodriguez stand out. The artist perfectly manages to draw the uneven surface of the water, literally murmuring through his fingers. The image is so realistic that you want to touch it. The portfolio of the talented Spaniard includes not only carefree landscapes. There are both ancient Greek statues and "everyday" sketches of the "desktop".
All the works of Adolfo Rodriguez are imbued with a genuine sense of tranquility and comfort, a special warmth and harmony emanate from them. It is not only the factual nature that captivates, but also the love with which the artist reproduces every object dear to his heart.
Recall that on the site Culturology. Ru we have already written about the work of Elizabeth Patterson, another artist who creates real masterpieces using colored pencils.
