Despite the fact that people are also animals, there is still a mental distinction in the world between the concept of "man" and "animal". But the French photographer Renaud Marion created a series of photographs called Attraction, in which he presented what would happen if some exotic wild animals suddenly find themselves on the streets of Paris.
Some animals may well enjoy the benefits of Civilization. For example, cats, which, according to photographs by Daniel Borris (Daniel Borris) with the name Yoga Kittens, may well do yoga, or elephants from Thailand, for which a special hospital is open. But all the same, they remain outside this Civilization. But animals from the Attraction series of photographs from Renault Marion fall into its very center.
In these works, Renault Marion explores the correspondences and differences between wildlife and humans. And, apparently, in these studies, he comes to the conclusion that these differences are not so significant! Moreover, according to works from the Attraction series, if wild animals and people meet on city streets, it is the latter who will behave strangely and aggressively.
Indeed, for people, wildlife is an attraction, and not the same integral part of planet Earth as they themselves. Therefore, someone will shy away from buffaloes and rhinos, someone will rush to photograph them or just watch them, and someone will not attach any special significance to the fact of the appearance of all these not pets at all on the streets and squares of Paris.
