Everyone knows for sure that a dog is a friend of man. What about a dog that is a friend of a dog or a dog that is a friend of a cat? These amazing animals will never get tired of showing us how loyal, loyal, kind they can be, how they can be compassionate. Meet Shiro - this deaf and blind from birth dog shows such incredible miracles of love, care and compassion that so many people can learn from him.
Our pets always love us in return for our kindness and care for them. They are very hard on betrayal. Like humans, mistreatment will forever scar their gullible hearts. A very small number of people sacredly observe the commandment "we are responsible for those whom we have tamed." Moreover, people often treat badly not only to animals, but also to each other.
The little dog, who was thrown so many times and betrayed by those whom he believed, whom he loved, has retained so much love and affection in his heart that people should simply be ashamed. Shiro was born deaf and almost blind. During his short life, he managed to change 2 orphanages and 12 foster families. His life changed dramatically when one woman appeared in it, who for several years has been engaged in helping animals in trouble.
Now Shiro has found his new home. A home where he is loved, where he is needed. Its owner, Cheryl Smith, is dedicated to saving abandoned animals. Those who have been mistreated, those who grew up on the street, those who were thrown there find shelter in her house. Cheryl takes care of them, heals, helps to find a loving family.
Almost two years ago, Smith met Shiro and he simply charmed her. The woman learned his story and realized how much he needed a house. Cheryl made the decision to take him to her. “So many times he experienced such bitter disappointment when they took him and then gave him back. I couldn't let it happen to him again,”Smith said in an interview with The Dodo.
The poor dog has been thrown so many times that he still worries that it might happen again. Every time Cheryl puts him in the car to go somewhere, Shiro cries. He is afraid that he will be dropped off somewhere and left. Despite all this, the dog turned out to have a very large loving heart. Pets are constantly appearing in Cheryl's house, in need of care, and Shiro helps them get used to it. He does everything to calm the newcomers down, make them feel welcome and loved, until they leave for their new home.
Smith says, “Right after I brought Shiro home, I rescued a pregnant dog. She was too sick and too weak to care for her puppies. Shiro climbed up to them and began to lick them. He did it to everyone. It was just amazing!"
Since then, he has done this with every new guest. He is able to patiently sit with kittens, puppies, adult dogs and cats. Smith says that the animals start to trust Shiro much earlier than her. Shiro's most recent friend is a tiny wild kitten named Tini Tolly. Cheryl found him on the street so emaciated that he was close to death. From the very first moment Tini Tolly appeared in the house, Shiro simply did not leave him.
Even after the kitten has regained its strength, the dog constantly comes up to kiss him. Of course, it took the cat a while to stop being afraid of the big dog. A new environment, a new home, a huge dog that wanders around, all this frightened Tini. In the end, the kitten began to get better, to feel better, to get used to it. And Shiro helped Tini Tolly a lot in this.
Many people should learn that despite all the evil they cause you, you can keep goodness and love, and share it with those who need it so much! If you are interested in our smaller brothers who are capable of the same emotions as people read our article about a cat who regrets the pets of the shelter so much that he tries to set them all free.
