A real escape with a brawl was staged by two raccoons in the town of Storozhinets, Chernivtsi region. Raccoons fled from the circus, which came on tour, and without thinking twice, they went straight to the store across the street. On the spot, making sure that no one bothers them, the animals raged all night and drank alcohol.

The raccoons "walked" well - the damage from their partying cost the store 46 thousand hryvnias (about $ 1700). This amount is explained by the fact that the striped animals randomly threw bottles from the shelves, and if the bottle broke, they spilled the contents. Apart from that, the raccoons also figured out how to get to the cheese and sausage, so they provided themselves with a snack too.

The owner of the store with the sellers saw all this disgrace only in the morning when she came to work. There were also "criminals" - not very sober and rather aggressive raccoons. One of them even scratched the owner of the store. Considering that raccoons had never been found in the vicinity, the woman immediately guessed that these animals had escaped from the circus tent "Orbit."

Not all local residents believed that the raccoons had done the pogrom. The locals were especially embarrassed by the fact that no one told how the animals got inside the premises. However, when the Ukrainian news outlet contacted the administrator of the tent circus, he confirmed that the story was true.

- I was on the spot, I saw broken bottles of vodka, cognac, beer - all of this was drunk, - says the administrator of the circus Vasily Kolos. - Raccoons were drunk, with a smell. They have been intoxicated for the third day already, they called the veterinarians. I think everything will be "okay" with them, the raccoons will be treated, they will drip.

How the raccoons managed to escape from the enclosures is also unknown. In the circus, these two are not the only raccoons, they have three more "colleagues." - I will not say how this could have happened, I did not drink with the raccoons that night, - Vasily Kolos continues. - Although I saw everything in my life - both drunken acrobats, and a drunk monkey that called the mayor at night, did not let him sleep, and this happened to himself, but our raccoons did not show inclination to alcoholic libations before. What to do - animals live side-by-side with us and adopt bad habits of some people. For example, we have a smoking cat - paw asks for a cigarette.

Of course, after such intoxication, there could be no question of the performance of these raccoons: the animals for several days walked away from the hangover and came to their senses. For them, the remaining three raccoons were "blown away" at all the performances. As for compensation for damage, we managed to somehow agree with the owner of the store. The circus administrator does not tell what kind of agreement they came to, only jokes that "I had to promise to marry her daughter." Be that as it may, now there is no trust in raccoons - the locks on the enclosures are checked several times. Drunken animals are no joke.
