August is coming to an end, which means that schoolchildren will very soon sit down at their desks and write essays about how they spent the summer. Someone will remember the clock on the TV, someone - endless computer games, but the real lucky ones know that a full-fledged vacation is recreation in nature. The best moments of the passing summer in black and white photos from Izabela Urbaniak.
Izabella Urbaniak is a talented photographer from Poland. Project idea Summertime was born to her in 2012, since then every summer she takes pictures of her two sons, who actively spend time with friends and cousins. The hot summer months fly by with these guys rapidly, because every day prepares for them new discoveries, unforgettable emotions, joyful moments.
You can see genuine emotions in the pictures: joy, surprise, slight sadness, fatigue, or, on the contrary, excitement and a twinkle in the eyes. Isabella Urbaniak says that the idea to create such a project did not arise by chance, she was inspired by the memories of her own holidays, which were annually held in the village with her grandmother.
The author of the project explains: “These photos show the summer without computers and TVs. Only idyllic pictures of nature and children at play. Indeed, in the pictures you can see the guys peeping through the fence, playing with the puppy, fishing, jumping from the pier into a stupor, racing across the field or relaxing in a hammock. All these moments, as they grow up, they will remember how the best that was in their life. Perhaps you and I were lucky, because our summer was also barefoot and with the wind in our hair.
By the way, the pictures of the Russian photographer Elena Shumilova, which show her sons and their pets, look no less touching.
