The group decided to start their first Russian concert by performing a song titled "Grazed by Heaven", which became the first composition in the album "Living the Dream". This is the 25th album recorded by the music group Uriah Heep in the studio, and it was released not so long ago - in September 2018.
In most cases, it is not customary to start concert performances with new songs, since the assembled audience is not always familiar with new compositions, and therefore reacts to them sluggishly. The guests of this event have already managed to get acquainted with the new album and even learn the words of the song, which opened the concert, which lasted only 1 hour and 40 minutes. The musical rock group decided to consolidate its success with the song "Return to Fantasy". This is one of the most famous songs of this group, which was recorded in 1975 and belongs to the classics. Then Uriah Heep decided to take a short break from the performance. At this time, Bernie Shaw, the vocalist, talked to the audience and said that a new European tour was organized specifically in support of the latest album, which he also spoke a little about to the audience gathered in the hall. The audience gathered in the hall was surprised by this, since the concert is held under the name "The Greatest Hits" and many expected to hear the best hits of this musical group. In total, during the concert, Uriah Heep performed ten songs, of which six were included in the last disc. Among their old hits, the musicians performed "Too Scared to Run", "Rainbow Demon" and "Gypsy". The concert attendees reacted most actively to the song “Look at Yourself”, which the fans recognized from the first chords. During one of the pauses between the compositions, Bernie said that the Uriah Heep team had visited Russia more than once and gave concerts, but for the first time they managed to visit here in December. The second Russian concert is scheduled for December 10th. The venue was chosen to be the Lensovet Palace of Culture in St. Petersburg. Here rock band Uriah Heep plans to present a significantly updated music program.
