Origami art has its roots in antiquity, but it remains popular to this day. This is confirmed by Nguyen Hung Cuong, an origami master. His paper figures are real masterpieces.
Vietnamese master Nguyen Hung Cuong has been practicing origami since the age of five. Now for him this is no longer just a hobby - it is a part of his life, a pleasant habit that he cannot part with. The artist draws inspiration from books on origami technique and history, as well as from wildlife magazines. The second is no coincidence: Nguyen Hung Cuong folds amazing animals out of paper. It's amazing how a small paper square can make a shark, bear, turtle or even an elephant. And this despite the fact that to create figures you do not need special devices: only paper and … a little imagination. Neither glue nor scissors will come in handy.
From a distance, it seems that the figures are made of papier-mâché, someone takes them for small sculptures. It is easy to confuse: the master is very skillful in his work, his skill is amazing, sometimes it seems that you can hear the cry of a gorilla sitting on a large boulder, or that a black beetle is about to spread its wings and take off.
“I like origami: I can do whatever I want from an ordinary piece of paper. Sometimes I find it difficult to express my thoughts in words - then origami comes to the rescue - for me it's just another way of communication, a way to share my ideas,”the master admits.
For now, for Nguyen Hung Cuong, this is only a hobby, but he has far-reaching plans. The master dreams of publishing an illustrated monograph to tell about his craft and inspire potential origami masters to create small paper masterpieces.

Marlene Dietrich and Ernest Hemingway: more than friendship, less than love
The boundaries beyond which friendship between a man and a woman ends and something more begins is very difficult to define. Especially when it comes to creative individuals. Ernest Hemingway called his relationship with Marlene Dietrich "unsynchronized passion": he woke up feelings when she was not free, and vice versa. Their romance lasted almost 30 years - perhaps so long precisely because it remained epistolary (now they would say - virtual). But there was so much passion in these letters that
