Believe it or not, Simon Beck creates these large-scale drawings in the snow without the help of any complex technique. Without special tools, with the knowledge that hours-long work can be buried in the snow after the first snowfall, Simon Beck bravely continues his difficult task.
Beck's work is a huge delight for social media users: Simon receives a huge amount of inspiring comments on his personal Facebook page. It is there that he publishes photographs of his new snow paintings. “Speaking of the temporary nature of my art … Yes, of course, what I do is short-lived. Fortunately, there is a photograph that captures my work, and I can share what I do. If for some reason I could not photograph what I am doing, I would hardly be doing it,”the artist admits.
Simon's work is further complicated by the fact that working with freshly fallen snow, the artist has no room for error. Only verified and precise steps can achieve the embodiment of the original plan. The result of such painstaking and long work is breathtaking volumetric images. The artist has been creating for several years, improving from time to time. Earlier works by the artist can be seen here.
Simon Beck's colleague on the shop, American artist Sonja Hinrichsen is also engaged in "snow painting". True, unlike Simon, to create bizarre ornaments in the snow, Sonya took six volunteers as her assistants.

Marlene Dietrich and Ernest Hemingway: more than friendship, less than love
The boundaries beyond which friendship between a man and a woman ends and something more begins is very difficult to define. Especially when it comes to creative individuals. Ernest Hemingway called his relationship with Marlene Dietrich "unsynchronized passion": he woke up feelings when she was not free, and vice versa. Their romance lasted almost 30 years - perhaps so long precisely because it remained epistolary (now they would say - virtual). But there was so much passion in these letters that
"Composition VII" by Kandinsky is a masterpiece of abstract art, sketches for which were made more than 30 times
The beginning of the twentieth century became an era of changes in all spheres of life and art. Painting was no exception. Artists were looking for new forms of expression in the visual arts. Abstractionism became the logical continuation of Cubism and Futurism. One of the brightest representatives of this trend is Wassily Kandinsky. Some call his canvases "daubs", while others cannot take their eyes off the bright compositions for a long time. At the same time, no one remains indifferent
