If you knew the Korean language, if you could understand these squiggles, hieroglyphs, then you could find out where the South Korean artist was born and where he studied Kim Yong Soo, the author of amazing paintings with installation elements that resemble magical Japanese watercolors. But they remind me only in style, since Kim Young Soo does not paint with watercolors, and not at all on rice paper, and not at all on paper … And all this is extremely curious! Small birds, thin and graceful sakura branches with pink delicate flowers and juicy green leaves, all this calls us to where it is warm and where spring reigns. In the cherry orchards, lie on the grass and listen to the birdsong. But painted birds in a painted garden cannot sing, although those painted by a talented Korean artist could. More precisely, they could, since they consist not only of paint smears, but also of semiconductors, wires and other parts that are used in electronics. And maybe they were once used in receivers, tape recorders, record players, helping them to sing in different voices and in different languages.
As a canvas, the artist uses concrete walls covered with white paint - flowers and leaves, painted with acrylic and complemented by other details from various devices that are out of order, bloom on them. Amazing paintings with installation elements are the know-how of the Korean artist Kim Yong Soo. We have not heard of another such creator, although many Asian artists paint such pictures, being inspired by cherry blossoms …
These and other paintings can be seen on the personal page of the author, Kim Yong Soo.

Portraits of oriental girls. Painting by Taiwanese artist Der Jen
East is a delicate matter. It is corny, but it cannot be said otherwise.
