Alexis met her husband David at work at the railroad bureau in 1998, and three years later they had their first son, Campbell. He is now 15 years old. The couple got married, and soon they had another boy, Harrison - he is now 13 years old. By this time, Alexis had retrained and began to work as a nurse in a hospital, and David became a train driver.

Since then, almost every two years, the couple began to have sons: Corey (now 11 years old), Lachlan (9), Brody (7), Bran (6), Hunter (4), Mac (3) and 14-month-old Blake … Alexis herself is from a very small family, where she was an only child, and to have such a large family was not originally included in her plans, she just "became constantly pregnant." Of course, it is not so easy to feed such a large family. Every week they use 90 packs of cereal, 1 kg of pasta, 14 loaves of bread, 8 packs of oatmeal and 6 bottles of lemonade. In addition, in seven days Alexis has to pack 58 lunch boxes, turn on the washing machine at least 28 times, and the bathroom is occupied 80 times in 7 days. Alexis admits that in order to do everything, she has to get up every day at 5:30 in the morning. How is it possible to survive with such a hectic and busy schedule? Surprisingly, Alexis and David not only manage all the routine tasks, but also find the opportunity to go on dates with each other twice a month.

Now David, despite developing Parkinson's disease, continues to work full-time, and also teaches martial arts three times a week. Alexis has the lion's share of childcare and homecare, but she still tries not to get bogged down in a routine, and just 8 weeks after giving birth to her eighth son, for example, she ran a half marathon for charity. She tries to keep herself in good physical shape, but admits that the last, tenth, pregnancy is not easy for her. "My thigh hurts again. I guess my body is telling me to stop. Well, that's fair."
