Mary Helen Bowers, who is referred to as a "fitness guru" and who coached stars such as Kirsten Dunst, Liv Tyler, and coached Natalie Portman during the filming of the famous Black Swan movie, still continues to work and train as stars and ordinary women, despite the fact that she had literally a week left before giving birth.
As 38-year-old Mary herself admits (Mary Helen Bowers), she loves the idea that when she dances, her child dances with her. "It's so wonderful to know that a little new life shares with you absolutely everything that you do," she says. In fact, this is Mary's third pregnancy, and during the two previous ones she also continued to work until the very last day of her pregnancy.
Mary admits that she is very lucky that her pregnancy proceeds without any complications, but she believes that it is her constant work on the body and constant listening to the slightest changes in her body that allows her to adapt in time and avoid problems. The doctor also confirms that Mary is in excellent condition and may well continue to work even now.
When Mary is asked how she manages to perform various ballet steps with such a big belly, the girl laughs and replies that being overweight is actually not the biggest problem. What helps her is constant work with the body, since she has to not only passively observe the changes, but work with them, learn how to adapt. "It seems to me that this focus on my own body helps me maintain balance and prevent back pain and other problems that commonly occur in women during pregnancy."
Since Mary spends most of the day in the training room in front of the mirror, dressed in tight leotards, she cannot bring herself to ignore the changes, even if she wanted to. Since this approach has more than justified itself during previous pregnancies, now Mary, in addition to her main work at the ballet school, also trains ordinary women who are expecting a child. She has developed a special fitness program for pregnant women. Lying at home or in the hospital and listening to if she's getting worse is not about Mary. You need to actively play sports and never ignore changes - this is the only way to avoid problems, the ballerina assures.
Anna Pavlova was one of the greatest ballerinas of all time. Most of her are known for the famous role of a dying swan, but few people know that she herself had own swan lake and even a loyal swan named Jack.
