And again about love …
And again about love …

The name of Ivan Aksenov is included in golden letters in the list of poets of the "Silver Age". He was born into a noble family in Putivl, graduated from the cadet corps in Kiev, and later the Nikolaev Military Engineering School in Moscow. The exile to which he was sent in 1908 because of support for a sapper revolt pushed Aksyonov to a passion for literature. And he returned to Kiev as a mature poet and art critic. His literary heritage is still of great interest to poetry lovers today.

Ivan Aksenov lived an incredibly eventful and difficult life. Coming from a noble family, he visited Siberian exile and a Romanian prison, fought for the Red Army. At the beginning of 1918, Aksenov was exchanged for Romanian generals, and he returned to Moscow, where he was then appointed chairman of the commission for combating desertion. Another interesting fact took place in his life - he was a shaver for the wedding of Anna Gorenko and Nikolai Gumilyov. And Ivan Aksyonov also wrote lyrical and painfully piercing poems …

The Silver Age had its own mysteries. For example, the mysterious poetess Cherubina de Gabriac - the loudest hoax of the Silver Age.
