Dina Korzun was born and raised in Smolensk. The actress never talked about her father - her mother alone was engaged in her upbringing. She worked in a hosiery factory, and her daughter, as a child, decided that she would become an artist. They lived in a communal apartment on the outskirts of the workers, and its neighbors were the first spectators. Together with other children, they arranged concerts for their parents. A blanket served as a curtain, jump ropes replaced microphones, and everything else was real: chairs were placed in several rows in the common kitchen, spectators were given tickets with the date and time of the performance indicated on them, consisting of variety and circus numbers.

Director Valery Todorovsky, together with Yuri Korotkov, wrote the script for the film "The Country of the Deaf" based on the story "Possess and Belong" by Renata Litvinova. The main roles went to Chulpan Khamatova and Dina Korzun. The deaf dancer Yaya, played by Korzun, became one of the most striking film characters of the late 1990s. The criminal line, without which not a single film of that period could do, was not the main one in the "Land of the Deaf". Yuri Korotkov said that the world of the deaf was at the center of the plot: "".
