Ivan Sukharev is a deputy from the LDPR party and is famous for his rather unusual proposals. Earlier, during the youth riots that took place in October last year, he proposed allowing children to be imprisoned when they reach the age of 12. This time he proposes to pay attention to the situation with patriotism in the domestic cinema and come up with worthy punishments.
He drew up a document that Sukharev sent to Vladimir Medinsky, who heads the country's Ministry of Culture. In this appeal, he recommends paying attention to actors who speak out negatively against the Russian Federation and refuse their services in the future. First of all, it is necessary to abandon the filming of such actors in films financed from the country's budget.
The deputy himself, during his speech, said that he considers it unacceptable to provide work to actors who do not respect either their country or the people living in this country, and it is precisely at his expense that many films are shot. After all, citizens pay taxes to the state budget, and from it funds are allocated for the shooting of new films, including the payment of fees for all actors. Sukharev decided to raise this issue not only on behalf of himself, but also on behalf of all the dissatisfied citizens, of whom there are many. According to the deputy, actors who are dissatisfied with something and themselves should refuse to participate in films where the state takes part in financing.
The development of such an active activity of Sukharev was prompted by the sensational statement of the actor Alexei Serebryakov. The famous Russian artist gave an interview on February 20, during which the conversation turned to a possible return of the nineties. To this, Serebryakov noted that, in his opinion, having moved somewhat away from the Russian capital, it would become clear that the national idea had not acquired either dignity, knowledge, enterprise, or ingenuity since that time. He also noted that rudeness, strength and arrogance remain a national idea in the country. It was these words of the actor that caused a lot of indignation among other actors, politicians and a huge number of ordinary citizens. There were also those who considered such words a great stupidity of Serebryakov and said that in such a situation this artist can only be regretted.
