She devoted her entire life to preserving the traditions of Russian song art. The tireless pop singer is the founder and leader of the "Russian Song" ensemble. Each performance of the creative team created by the singer 45 years ago, and for 20 years already transformed into the Moscow State Musical Theater of Folklore, turns into a colorful folk holiday. The future singer was born in the early spring of 1950 in the Astrakhan region in Cherny Yar and sang for as long as she can remember. Nadezhda's father, Georgy Ivanovich Babkin, came from the Cossacks who had served in the White Army in previous years. He played excellently on various instruments and sang well. He passed his musical gift with interest to his daughter. Mother - Tamara Aleksandrovna (nee Chistyakova), worked as a primary school teacher. She came from a family of merchants who owned a manufactory in Moscow before the revolution.

Nadia grew up as a musical and artistic child. Babkina's first dreams of a career as an artist appeared at the age of 4. However, the parents were categorically against such a profession: in the future they wanted to see their daughter as a doctor, engineer or teacher.

But already from the 1st grade, the girl began to attend an amateur art circle, and not a single school event could do without the groovy Nadezhda Babkina. She skillfully performed folk songs, arousing the admiration of teachers and parents. The grandmothers were proud of their daughter, but they were in no hurry to teach music specifically. Brother Valera, who was two years younger than Nadia, was much more fortunate - from the age of 5 he was sent to a music school, where he learned to play the button accordion. Having mastered the instrument, he played along with his older sister, becoming the first accompanist at her children's performances. Later, the parents bought their daughter a piano, and then a guitar.

Young Babkina, as a soloist of amateur performances, really liked to travel around the villages and villages on an old village bus with propaganda teams and give concerts in village clubs. And in the senior grades she already took part in all amateur performances, and with performances from the district and from the school she traveled to other cities of the Astrakhan Territory and far beyond its borders. By the way, even in the tenth grade, she became the winner of the All-Russian youth competition in the genre of Russian folk song.

Nevertheless, after graduating from school, an incredibly talented girl with a strong-willed character was forced to submit to the will of her parents, who were categorically opposed to their daughter becoming an artist. At the insistence of his father and mother, Babkin becomes a student at a medical school. True, only for one semester: Nadia's soul did not lie in medicine. It is not for nothing that they say: you cannot escape fate. And in the new academic year, Nadezhda entered the Astrakhan School of Music. In parallel with her studies in the last year, she worked as a soloist-vocalist at the Regional Directorate of Film Distribution - she sang in cinemas before the start of the screenings. And, curiously, people began to come to listen to her performances more often than to watch films.

Conquest of the capital

Not stopping there, after graduating from college, our heroine went to conquer Moscow in 1971. And this time she chose the conductor-choral faculty of the State Music and Pedagogical Institute named after V. I. Gnesins. The members of the commission have long remembered the entrance exam of the future star. Ensemble "Russian Song"

It was with the light hand of our heroine, who was still a student, that the first composition of the Russian Song ensemble was formed in 1975, assembled by Nadezhda from classmates. Success and recognition were not long in coming. The first significant success of the ensemble was the performance in Sochi at the All-Russian Soviet Song Contest in 1976. This victory was followed by other awards. "Russian Song" received a gold medal in Bratislava, then again won the All-Russian competition and received a prize for the best performance of a folk song.

In the mid-80s, the queen of Russian song entered the GITIS department of stage directors in order to independently work on stage numbers. Of course, her merits did not go unnoticed, and already in 1986 Babkina became well-deserved, and six years later she received the title of People's Artist. After that, less than a year later, her ensemble was reorganized into the Moscow Folklore Center "Russian Song", which a little later received the status of a theater. In 2018, Babkina's brainchild acquired its modern name - “Moscow State Academic Theater“Russian Song”under the direction of N. G. Babkina.

The lively, energetic and purposeful singer has been a permanent leader for the past five decades, she has invested a lot of time and effort, and continues to invest in the team, coming up with stunning performances so that the viewer can fully enjoy their concerts. Personal life. The first love

The singer's personal life has always been surrounded by gossip and bad rumor. But, from all difficult situations, the artist came out with her head held high.

And it just so happened that, while still a first-year student at the music school, she fell in love for the first time without memory. And this feeling almost cost her a diploma. The object of her passion was Oleg Goldes, a senior student of the same school, who by that time was already married. Although he was carried away by the groovy singer, he was not going to leave his family for the sake of a relationship with her. Then persistent Nadezhda went straight to the wife of her chosen one and asked to "give" Oleg to her. Of course, the wife, shocked by the insolent trick of the young student, immediately took her husband into circulation and informed the school administration about the immoral behavior of the freshman. The bitterness of first marriage

Hope has never been deprived of attention from men, but she was officially married only once. Her first spouse was musician Vladimir Zasedatelev (1947-2012) - a drummer who played in the VIA "Leisya, song", and then in the VIA "Samotsvety". The couple met at one of the festivals, where they performed with their bands, and six months later they got married. In 1975, the newlyweds had a son, Daniel. Their marriage lasted 17 years, but it cannot be called happy. He was overshadowed by her husband's infidelities, which were present from the very beginning of their marriage.

Once, because of this, Nadezhda Babkina, in her ninth month of pregnancy, almost threw herself out of the window. Now the woman remembers this with bitterness. On New Year's Eve, a large company came to visit them. Everyone, except the expectant mother, drank a lot, and one of the friends stayed overnight with the young family. Well, then everything happened, as in the worst movie - Babkina, waking up in the middle of the night, found her husband with this friend during sex. The shock experienced was so great that the woman, not remembering herself, opened the window, climbed onto the windowsill … But she could step out of the seventh floor window. It was a fierce winter outside, and there was a husband in the room with another woman. The singer was then saved by her son, who seemed to already understand everything and stopped the tragedy.

The bright, lively, always energetic Nadezhda Babkina admits that then she was petrified by betrayal and, perhaps for the first time in her life, did not know what to do next … Now she understands that she had to leave her unfaithful spouse and run wherever she looked, and then she forgave him and lived with him for another difficult 16 years after the birth of her son.

More than once, Nadezhda caught her husband cheating: the musician constantly had connections on the side. And all this happened often in front of the little son. The family discord was aggravated by Vladimir's professional jealousy. He could not come to terms with the all-Union popularity of his wife. As a result, he started an affair on the side, and then completely secretly divorced Nadezhda and married his mistress. He lived a double life for a long time. And when the singer accidentally found out about this, having seen a stamp in his passport, where another woman was listed in the column "wife", she silently packed her things, took her son and left her traitorous husband forever. Since then, they have not communicated and only saw each other at their son's wedding in 2007, and in 2012 Vladimir was gone.

Another big shock for the artist was an accident, which literally a year after breaking up with her husband got her only son Daniel. A 17-year-old boy with a friend, while driving around the city at night, had a serious accident. As a result, Daniel received a severe head injury. When they met, she was 53, and he was 23. This happened at a competition for young performers. Sitting on the jury, Babkina immediately noticed Evgeny Gorshechkov from Izhevsk, and she herself suggested performing together. Later, Evgeny Gorshechkov became Evgeny Gore, and the working relationship between the artists grew into an intimate one. True, not everyone believed that Babkina and the young performer, who was suitable for her sons, had a real romance. We decided that it was PR. The situation was so dangerous that the doctors had to enter Babkin into an artificial coma. The singer now considers April 9th her second birthday. With 80% of lung damage, doctors literally pulled the singer out of the afterlife. Fortunately, everything turned out well, and at the end of April the singer was discharged from the clinic.
