The festival of puppet and synthetic theaters KUKART has new laureates - students of the St. Petersburg Institute of Culture, whose performance was prepared by director Sergei Murzin.

Many participants from all over Russia, as well as from near and far abroad took part in the KUKART festival, held in St. Petersburg. Such a vast geography is due to the level of the festival, which this year turned 28 years old.

- During closed borders, lockdowns, our world of art helps to live, to be spiritually healthy, and this is the most important thing for us now, says David Burman, president of the festival.

- In a few days we had to prepare a full-fledged performance, and here our teacher Sergey Murzin helped a lot. As a result, a musical performance "The Tale of the Fisherman, or Thursday is a Fish Day" appeared. It was an unusual creative experiment, - Natalya Serebrova, student of SPbGIK, shares her impressions.

Thanks to the experience of the senior teacher and director Sergei Murzin, the troupe from St. Petersburg won a laureate.
