The Metropolitan Park "Muzeon" has closed the exhibition, prepared by the search team "Lisa Alert" and dedicated to the missing people. Project coordinator Oleg Leonov shared this information on his personal Facebook page.
According to Leonov, a special installation at the Muzeon was prepared within the framework of the project. The theme of the installation is Lost People. These are 7 structures made of iron, and inside them on the walls there are stories of dead and missing children. Leonov noted: “Yes, this is very heavy content. All stories are written in the first person and told through the lips of the missing. The organizers emphasized that this exhibition is primarily for parents, who must remember that not all situations end well.
Since the exhibition is intended for adults, it was marked with +18. But at the same time, the organization of the park surrounded it with fences, and at the moment no one can get inside.
A spokesman for the Lisa Alert squad explained that Muzeon insisted on it so that the organizers would not let children in who want to visit the installation. "Lisa Alert" refused to do this, explaining that she would not do this, but could only warn visitors. In response, Muzeon's management announced the closure of the exhibition.
Liza Alert is the most famous search party in Russia. It all began in 2010, when on September 13 a 4-year-old girl and her aunt disappeared in the forest. For 5 days, almost no one looked for them. And only after the information hit the Internet, hundreds of unfamiliar, caring people responded to someone else's misfortune and began searching on their own. The girl Liza was found, but it was too late. But if the search had begun earlier, the ending of this story would have been completely different.
Then, in search of the girl, about 500 volunteers took part, who literally combed residential areas meter by meter for years. These people did not know Lisa, did not know her family. They just could not remain indifferent.
Since the Department of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Emergency Situations were inactive for a long time, the girl died on the 9th day from hypothermia. Found her on the 10th day. The volunteers, shocked by the tragedy, decided that it was impossible to stay idle, this should not be repeated. And it was after this incident that the idea of organizing a rescue squad of volunteers arose.
After 20 days, the idea was embodied and a search and rescue squad appeared, named after the deceased baby "LisaAlert". Today, the main task of the volunteer squad is to protect children and their right to life.
