The path to the profession

Born and raised in an acting family, she has spent a lot of time behind the scenes since her birth in 1961. Parents, actors of the Ryazan theater, constantly took their daughter with them to work, and at the age of five, Irina Rozanova first appeared on the stage, playing a little girl in the production of Jenny Gerhard. However, her creative destiny, as the family legend says, began much earlier, when her mother, Zoya Belova, being 8 months pregnant, played Lisa Protasova in the play "Children of the Sun" by Gorky.

Since childhood, Irina studied at a music school, after she entered a music school, but very quickly realized that she would not achieve much success in the music field. And she went to Moscow to enter the Shchepkinskoye School. She, who knew many roles by heart from childhood, was unexpectedly confused in front of the selection committee, and of all the teachers she remembered only Yuri Solomin. She read poems like a poor student, and the woman who followed the applicant out of the audience advised the girl to return to Ryazan and not spoil her fate, because she would not become an actress anyway.

Returning to her hometown, Irina Rozanova got a job as a costume designer, sometimes went on stage in the crowd and prepared for admission. The girl's mother asked the teacher of the Moscow Art Theater School, Viktor Monyukov, who was at that time in Ryazan, to listen to her daughter. The teacher, hearing that Irina had prepared an excerpt from Exupery's "The Little Prince" for audition, immediately interrupted her and advised her to prepare a monologue by Lushka from Virgin Soil Upturned or Nana from Zola's novel of the same name for the theatrical tests.

It was with this repertoire that Irina Rozanova entered GITIS. True, as she herself admits, before the exams, her mother still enlisted the support of Vsevolod Ostalsky, who was a member of the admissions committee, so she became an actress almost out of pull.

Even in her student years, she began to appear on the stage of the Mayakovsky Theater, after receiving a diploma, she changed several theaters and as a result moved to an entreprise.

Since 1985, Irina Rozanova began acting in films, making her debut in Alexander Kalyagin's film "My Friend". Her film career steadily went up, the actress starred with Vladimir Bortko and Vadim Abdrashitov, Gerald Bezhanov, Valery Isakov. With special warmth, the actress recalls her work with Pyotr Todorovsky in the films "Intergirl" and "Anchor, another anchor!"

Alone with myself

Irina Rozanova never suffered from a lack of male attention, since the very first time she fell in love with her classmate Sergei Pantyushin during her school years. Fate divorced them after the eighth grade, when the young man entered the flight school, and Irina herself went to the music school. But the warm relationship between them has survived to this day.

The first husband of Irina Rozanova was classmate Yevgeny Kamenkovich, whose marriage lasted two years. Later she was the wife of producer Timur Weinstein, whom she left after losing her child. For Irina Yuryevna, what happened was a real tragedy, after which she came to her senses for a long time. For the third time, the actress married the cameraman Grigory Belenky, whose family existed for six years.

In addition to her husbands, there were serious novels in her life that did not end with the formalization of the relationship. Irina Rozanova considers herself a very family person, she is used to taking care of those with whom fate brings her. This is probably why she considers all her ex-husbands and lovers to be her close people. She always parted with them well and managed to maintain friendly relations.

One of the reasons for her parting with men, Irina Yuryevna calls the fact that she cannot give birth to her own child. She perfectly understood the expectations of her husbands, and also their mothers, who dreamed of grandchildren. She knew for sure: she would never become a mother. This remains the eternal pain of the actress, especially since she loves children very much.

At one time Irina Rozanova thought about adopting a child, but then she left this thought. She honestly admits: she lacks confidence in herself and her strengths, the actress is desperately afraid not to cope and thereby harm the child who will believe her.

Irina Yuryevna has four godchildren, and she takes the duties of a godmother very seriously. True, the absence of her own children still echoes in her heart with pain. But the actress tries not to dwell on these thoughts. By and large, she is a very happy person: she has a large family, nephews, brother and ex-husbands, of whom, as she herself admits, they have made loyal friends and good neighbors.

During the filming of the film "Happy New Year, Mom!" Irina Rozanova made friends with the legendary Alain Delon. He said then that he would like to continue communicating with the actress and even make another movie. The French actor admitted that he had everything, he did not need anything, he saw everything. But when, at a press conference, Delon was asked about what he lacks in life, he suddenly simply replied: "Love …"

Sometimes Irina Rozanova thinks that she also lacks love. But then she remembers those who are dear to her, loved ones, friends, relatives … And she goes on through life, rejoicing at the opportunity to give love to people herself.
