In her life she looked like the same Nastenka from "Morozko" who glorified Natalya Sedykh all over the country. However, fate constantly tested the actress for strength. Her life was in real danger, she had to endure the betrayal of a loved one and abandon a career in cinema, although brilliant prospects opened up for the actress.
Sporty character
Little Natasha was only 4 years old when, after watching the European Figure Skating Championships, she firmly decided to become a figure skater. Despite her good physical characteristics, they refused to take the girl to the section because of her age. Who would have thought then how purposeful this fragile baby would be.
She went out onto the carpet, not at all embarrassed by the presence of a large number of adults, declared herself as the European champion Indra Kramparova, and spun in a dance, depicting sliding on the ice. After her impromptu performance, the coach, who was laughing to tears, invited Natasha to training.
Ballet came into her life a little later thanks to figure skating. The choreographer noticed that it was dance that attracted the girl to sports and advised her to go to a ballet school at the Bolshoi Theater.
The competition was enormous, but Natasha was still enrolled. For a long time she tried to combine sports and ballet, but she still had to make a choice. Natalya Sedykh refused figure skating, despite the fact that her couple with Sergei Chetverukhin was included in the Olympic team.
She dreamed of dancing on the stage of the Bolshoi Theater and was ready to do everything to achieve her goal.
Choice of profession
Thanks to the ballet, Natalia got her first film role. Alexander Row, who was preparing to shoot "Morozko", saw the performance of Natalia Sedykh, who sang the part of a dying swan, at some kind of sports festival. And he offered the 15-year-old ballerina a role.
The leadership of the ballet school was categorically against filming the girl in the cinema. But Natasha's teacher Shulamith Messerer resolutely stood up for her student. And the girl left for the shooting on the Kola Peninsula.
She later starred in several more films and became incredibly popular. And she sent a letter to all film studios with a request to exclude her from the list of actresses, since she will no longer be filmed.
This decision was preceded by admission to the troupe of the Bolshoi Theater. For herself, Natalya firmly decided: if they do not take it to the Bolshoi, she will enter VGIK and become an actress. After working for several years at the Bolshoi Theater, she realized that she could not combine her favorite work in the theater with filming.
Dangerous love
For the first time Natalia fell in love with her partner in "Morozko" Eduard Izotov. She was a young, enthusiastic girl, and her crush passed immediately after filming ended.

Later in her life, there were various novels, from fleeting to serious. For many years a boy who studied with her at a ballet school was in love with her. Natalia subsequently grew out of these children's relationships, and the young man did not want to understand this in any way.
During a tour of the Bolshoi Theater in Leningrad, Natalya Sedykh met her future husband. Moreover, the first meeting could well have turned out to be the last, since the composer Viktor Lebedev turned out to be persistent in a rhyme. For some reason he decided that on the very first evening he would be able to put Natalia to bed. And having received a rebuff, he directed all his efforts to make amends and impress the impregnable ballet dancer.
Rumors of an affair between Natalia Sedykh and Viktor Lebedev reached the former lover of the actress. He then rushed to Leningrad and almost killed his beloved woman, forcing her to stay with him. Natalia managed to escape only by deceiving the young man. She promised him to marry him, and she fled with the help of her future husband.
Guest marriage
Viktor Lebedev looked after beautifully, looked adoringly and in the end completely charmed the actress. Soon he made an offer to his girlfriend, she answered him with consent. But they entered into marriage only two years later, when Victor finished his divorce proceedings.
It was a strange marriage. She lived in Moscow because she could not imagine life without the Bolshoi Theater. He was in Leningrad because he taught at the Academy of Arts. They rushed on dates to each other at the slightest opportunity. Only after the birth of her son Alyosha, Natalya spent some time with her husband in Leningrad.
But the young mother was clearly burdened by the role of a housewife and at the first opportunity she went to work in the theater. She returned to Moscow, hired a nanny for the baby, found an au pair and completely relied on her mother, who was in charge of the whole process.
She still flew to Leningrad to her husband, he came to Moscow. She usually called Victor when she was going to the station, but one day she decided to make a surprise. Then everything was like a hackneyed joke: the husband and his mistress taken by surprise, ridiculous excuses and parting.
Natalya Sedykh closed this topic for herself right away, never giving in to her husband's persuasion to try to start all over again. They filed for divorce much later. But the former spouses continue to communicate normally, both took part in raising their son, and even today they maintain almost friendly relations, although Alexei has grown up long ago.
Happy loneliness
There were several more novels in her life, but they ended, and Natalya did not cease to be happy. She is comfortable alone. Even the prospect of having an animal does not inspire her. She is free and independent, she can not report to anyone and devote herself to what seems important to her at the moment.
After finishing her career at the Bolshoi Theater, Natalya Sedykh, at the invitation of Mark Rozovsky, became an actress of the troupe of the theater "At Nikitskiye Vorota", and after that she again occasionally appeared in films. She still holds her back straight and goes through life, holding her head high and not complaining about fate.
The fairy-tale film "Frost", which became the hallmark of the actress Natalia Sedykh, was released in 1964. Steven Spielberg claimed that it was this film that became the forerunner of many famous Hollywood film masterpieces. Many artists after filming became real stars. And it is no coincidence that this tale has become so popular: it is very close in spirit to the Russian people, and more than one generation of children has grown up on it.
