Since there are many types of entertainment in the modern world, we have the right to choose where to go for lunch or dinner, where to celebrate a wedding anniversary or just have a good time. Only time does not stand still, and more and more options appear on the horizon.
Still an interesting country, New Zealand. Once we mentioned that there is a nice restaurant in it. What is he famous for? By the one on the tree! The idea is romantic, unusual and should be liked by many, in the literal sense of the word. However, as it turns out, this is not all that designers and architects can offer. It occurred to them that it was time to make and … an underwater restaurant. It is worth saying that this is the first restaurant of this kind in the world, and it is located in the Maldives, on one that is called Rangalifinolhu - they have long wanted to make it a center for tourist recreation, and the construction of such a restaurant means just that. It is located at a depth of just over five meters, and is also surrounded by coral reefs.
The area is about 5 by 9 meters, the roof of the restaurant and the walls are completely made of glass, which allows you to create an amazing atmosphere inside and makes it possible to see not only the reefs, but also the underwater inhabitants of the sea, and such an institution can simultaneously accommodate fourteen people. I think a lot of people will want to dine in such a place, because this is a new experience. It's one thing to go diving, dive and look at fish, and quite another to sit and dine, enjoying the beauty of the deep sea.
Interestingly, the name of the restaurant sounds like “Ithaa”, which can be translated from the Maldivian language as “pearl”. It is worth noting that the prices for dishes on the restaurant menu range from $ 120 to $ 250.
Designers from M. J. Murphy Ltd, which is just from New Zealand - we remembered this country for a reason. And the construction of the restaurant cost about $ 5 million!
