The attitude towards life and death in all cultures is different, therefore, what seems immoral and immoral to some people, from others, arouses approval, or even a condescending smile. Perhaps only in India, where reincarnation is the most important part of religion, could a restaurant appear, built in the middle of an old Muslim cemetery. New Lucky restaurant Ahmedabad is a unique place where hundreds of visitors come to enjoy a cup of tea.
The "lucky" visitors sit next to the graves and joke that the tea with milk and bun in this restaurant is really worth dying for. Krishan Kutti Nair, the owner of the establishment, does not see anything reprehensible in the fact that his clients spend time near the graves, on the contrary, he is sure that this is the key to success!
True, the restaurant was not always part of the cemetery. It all started with a tea stall, which was opened by K. H. Mohammed. Business was going well, and soon the territory of the shop expanded so much that it reached the graves. We do not understand this, but in a country that is ahead of America in terms of population, and is three times inferior in territory to it, land is very expensive. Today, green graves are literally "scattered" around the restaurant, but this does not prevent visitors from waiters with trays in their hands making their way to the tables.
Visitors are calm about such an "extravagant" neighborhood, many are even happy to have a cup of tea after visiting their deceased relatives. Although there are also those who have nothing to do with the nearby graves: old people come here to argue about politics, and young people even make romantic dates in a restaurant.
Surprisingly, local historians believe that the remains of a 16th century Sufi saint, whose grave is located nearby, lie on the territory of the restaurant. Krishan Kutti Nair treats burials with special trepidation, because he is sure that they bring him good luck, so every morning he does a wet cleaning on the graves, and also decorates them with fresh flowers.

Anatoly Papanov and his Nadezhda: "I am a Monogamous woman - one woman and one theater"
Everything in his life was not at all the same as in the movies. Only love was so big and bright that it was just right to write a novel about it. Anatoly Papanov all his life, until his last breath, loved one and only woman, his Nadezhda. They both went through the war. As corny as it may sound, they both looked death in the eye. And maybe that's why they had a thirst for life and a thirst for love
William Lamson's Sugar House - greenhouse, chapel and zen garden in one bottle
Who among us in childhood, listening to mother's fairy tales, did not dream of a magical land where rivers of milk flow and people live in gingerbread houses? It turns out that sweet houses are not fiction at all, you just have to try - and now a house made of sugar is right there. If you don't believe me, take a look at the work of William Lamson. His brainchild, the Solarium greenhouse, is made from caramelized sugar
Watercolors, pastels and colored pencils in one bottle: interesting drawings by Molly Brose
Many artists try to twist and find newer ways of creativity, sometimes forgetting about the most important thing - about the content. And also that many of the existing methods can be skillfully combined. Like Molly Brose and her watercolor drawings, which she dilutes with pastels, crayons, charcoal, graphite, wax crayons, and even draws them on special paper
One million coffee beans. One World, One Family, One Coffee: another mosaic of Saimir Strati
This Albanian maestro, multiple "record holder" for mosaics, Saimir Strati, has already been met by the readers of Culturology.Ru on the pages of the site. It was he who created a painting of 300,000 screws and a portrait of Leonardo da Vinci from nails, and also laid out images from corks and toothpicks. And the new mosaic, on which the author is working today, probably cost him more than one hundred cups of strong aromatic coffee, since he lays it out from a million coffee beans
Edison Bottle - Beck's Singing Bottle
The dance and music group Stomp can play any melody of any complexity on literally anything, even on garbage, even on their own bodies. And the Beck's company turned one of the bottles into an analogue of a vinyl record that can play music when you hold a gramophone needle over it
